At the time of writing this article's part / 10 March 2018 / statistics on wikipedia were as follows:
Official:
61.3% Islam.
Other religions:
19.8% Buddhist,
9.2% Christian,
6.2% Hindu,
3.4% other.

Malaysian Dragon.
Dragon is symbol of Fear according with Jung's Psychology. Terrorism uses Fear.
But a tamed, befriended Dragon is symbol of Magic & Protection.
While my understanding is still shallow, i can see that presence of Insidious Islam as official Religion, as well as close proximity of Cunning China might make Malaysia a cradle of possible terrorism, of possible conflict that can 'explode' and too easily escalate too far.
i think that when these insidious & cunning influences mix, smart & dangerous people are raised by society, people with exceptional mental capabilities when covert operations, terrorism & warfare are considered.
i call collectively these threats as 'Malaysian Dragon', that hopefully should be adressed by Buddhism with our Loving Kindness & Compassion (Metta & Karuna).
i think we Buddhists should strive for Peace, at least that Way.
